On Saturday at 11 AM, Dr. Muhammad Yunus visited the grave of martyred Abu Saeed in Babonpur village, Pirganj Upazila, Rangpur, and met with his family. Commemorating Abu Saeed's sacrifice, Dr. Yunus said, "He has become a symbol of today's Bangladesh. His bravery will inspire the new generation of the country to fight for justice."

The chief advisor of the interim government, Dr. Muhammad Yunus, stated that the second victory achieved by students in the mass uprising will not be allowed to be wasted. He made this call while engaging in a dialogue with teachers and students at the administrative building of Begum Rokeya University in Rangpur.

Dr. Muhammad Yunus called for giving opportunities to the young generation to lead our country. Addressing young citizens, he said "Your ability is the ability to turn the impossible into the possible. You can change not only Bangladesh but the whole world. Don't back down. We have failed, we have been defeated. We couldn't take you to where you were supposed to be. But don't you fail. Don’t let the next generation be able to say that they couldn't move forward because you had paved their way." Dr. Yunus further said, "To build a new Bangladesh, we have to clear the path for the youth. No one can hold you back. The journey is ahead, the destination is liberation. No one can hold us back."

He added, "Abu Saeed is not just the child of one family, he is now the child of all of Bangladesh. The story of his bravery will find a place in many poems, literature, and epics in the future. This movement is not just a Bangladeshi incident, the whole world has seen how a government could not stand in the face of a student movement. What you have done, we call it the second victory celebration. Let us not lose this victory."

Moreover, Dr. Yunus emphasized that students have the responsibility to keep people of all religions, including Hindus, Buddhists, and Christians, safe. He said, "When you could protect the country, why can't you protect a few families? We are all children of the same soil. It is everyone's responsibility to eliminate social discrimination."

Referring to the journey of establishing Grameen Bank, the chief advisor mentioned that providing money to rural women was a risky step. However, he succeeded in taking this risk. As a result, rural women have become financially self-sufficient, and this social business model has been praised worldwide. In this context, he remembered Begum Rokeya Sakhawat Hossain as pioneer of the women's rights movement called on everyone to work together to empower women.
